Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and AJK Media, Inc. (“AJK Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of AJK Media’s corporate website, Divorce.law, Bankruptcy.law, Criminal.law, DUI.law, and the content, tools, communications, and related services made available through them (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using a Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. A particular platform, product, checkout page, or feature may include supplemental terms. Those supplemental terms control for that product or feature if they conflict with these Terms.

2. Nature of the Services

AJK Media operates consumer legal-information and attorney-marketing platforms. Depending on the platform and its stage of development, the Services may include educational content, AI-assisted information, jurisdiction-aware guides, Roadmaps, calculators, checklists, resource libraries, email communications, attorney directories or connection features, paid self-help products, and paid attorney advertising.

AJK Media and its platforms are not law firms. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal representation, or legal referral services.

3. No legal advice or attorney-client relationship

Nothing in the Services is legal advice for an individual matter. Using content, Victoria, a Roadmap, a calculator, a checklist, an email, an attorney listing, or an attorney connection feature does not create an attorney-client relationship with AJK Media, any AJK Media platform, or any listed attorney.

An attorney-client relationship can be formed only directly between you and an independent attorney or law firm that agrees to represent you. Information submitted to AJK Media is not protected by attorney-client privilege unless and until it is communicated within a separate attorney-client relationship.

4. AI-assisted information

Victoria and any other AI-assisted features provide general legal information. AI-generated responses are composed in real time and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inapplicable to your circumstances. They are not reviewed by an attorney before you receive them and must not be treated as a substitute for advice from a lawyer licensed in the relevant jurisdiction.

You choose what to share with an AI feature. Do not submit information you do not want processed under these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

5. Roadmaps, calculators, tools, and estimates

Where offered, Roadmaps, planners, checklists, calculators, and guided tools are informational self-help resources based on information you provide and rules, models, or assumptions that may change. They do not guarantee filing eligibility, court acceptance, cost, timeline, strategy, attorney need, discharge, dismissal, sentence, charge outcome, support amount, property result, or any other legal or financial outcome.

Calculator and tool outputs are not legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice. Review important information against current official sources and consult a qualified professional before acting.

6. Saved links and account security

A private workspace, Roadmap, account, or saved-result link may work for anyone who possesses the link or credentials. You are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under your account. Treat private links like passwords and do not share them with people you do not trust.

7. Email communications

If you provide an email address, we may send requested resources, results, access links, confirmations, and other transactional communications. We may also send educational or platform updates you have chosen to receive. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe method; messages necessary to deliver or secure something you requested may continue.

8. Attorney advertising and paid placements

Attorney profiles, market or jurisdiction placements, sponsorships, and related visibility may be paid advertising. Payment does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, referral, certification, guarantee of availability, or guarantee of outcome. Past results do not guarantee similar results. You are responsible for evaluating an attorney before hiring that attorney.

Advertising relationships do not determine the legal information presented in our editorial content, tools, or AI-assisted features. Sponsored content or placements may be labeled as paid or sponsored.

9. Attorney connections and independent professionals

We share contact information or a relevant inquiry summary with an attorney or law firm only when you affirmatively request that connection or submit an inquiry to that attorney. Attorneys and law firms are independent third parties. We do not guarantee that an attorney will contact you, accept your matter, avoid a conflict, charge a particular fee, or achieve a result.

AJK Media is not responsible for an attorney’s advice, representation, fees, conflicts, availability, conduct, or outcomes. Any engagement agreement and legal services are solely between you and the attorney or law firm.

10. Attorney and law-firm partners

If you purchase a profile, market placement, sponsorship, subscription, or other marketing product, you acknowledge that it is an advertising and marketing arrangement—not a referral-fee, fee-sharing, or legal-services arrangement.

• Subscriptions bill in advance on a recurring basis unless otherwise stated and continue until cancelled.
• Cancellations apply prospectively; fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated at checkout.
• Exclusivity, where offered, applies only to the purchased market and only while the subscription remains active and in good standing.
• We may reject, suspend, modify, or remove placements for compliance, quality, legal, editorial, or platform reasons.
• You are responsible for profile accuracy, conflicts, engagement letters, legal advice, client relationships, and compliance with applicable professional and advertising rules.
• We do not guarantee traffic, rankings, AI citations, impressions, leads, clients, retainers, revenue, or other results.

11. Paid consumer products

Where offered, paid consumer products are informational self-help services, not legal services. They do not include attorney review unless expressly stated. We do not guarantee that a court, clerk, agency, creditor, prosecutor, opposing party, or other person will accept a document or result produced with a Service.

Digital-access periods, usage limits, refunds, cancellations, and delivery terms are governed by the product description and checkout terms. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party processor under that processor’s terms.

12. Reviews and user submissions

Where a platform permits reviews, they must reflect genuine direct experience and may not be purchased, falsified, or exchanged for compensation, gifts, discounts, or other consideration. We may moderate, decline, or remove content that is false, defamatory, irrelevant, abusive, privacy-invasive, or otherwise violates these Terms.

When you submit messages, forms, reviews, inquiries, planning responses, or other content, you grant AJK Media the limited right to process, store, transmit, analyze, display, and use that content as needed to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit the information you provide.

13. Acceptable use

You may use the Services only lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
• Submit false or fraudulent information, impersonate another person, or submit someone else’s personal information without authority.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated or bulk access contrary to our robots directives or without written permission.
• Reverse engineer the Services or attempt to extract prompts, system instructions, source code, protected data, or security controls.
• Abuse, overload, manipulate, disrupt, or compromise the integrity, security, or availability of the Services.
• Use the Services to build a competing scraped database or legal-information product.
• Use attorney or partner features in a manner that violates professional-responsibility or advertising rules.

14. No guarantees

We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, currency, availability, visibility, traffic, rankings, citations, email delivery, attorney responses, leads, clients, revenue, costs, timelines, eligibility, court acceptance, discharge, dismissal, sentence, settlement, or any legal outcome.

15. Intellectual property

The Services and their original content, branding, technology, structured data, compilation, design, and software are owned by AJK Media or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by law or with our written authorization, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, sell, or exploit them.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, CURRENT, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

17. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AJK MEDIA, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID AJK MEDIA DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AJK Media, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Services, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

19. Governing law and geographic scope

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

The Services are directed to users in the United States and Canada and are not intended for use where their operation would be unlawful or require authorization we have not obtained.

20. Changes, severability, and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
